At the pace of the sweetest season
Lingering. Probably summer's best idea so far. Afternoons that go on a bit longer under the parasol, trains in no particular hurry, terraces you somehow can't quite leave after the coffee, and hammocks with strong opinions about getting up.
At Dandoy, we love these moments as deeply as they deserve. Our biscuits have always found their way into them. But this summer, we wanted to fill in another square: a playbook that slips into all these moments without taking a thing from their slowness.
At Dandoy, we're rather fond of these moments, and our biscuits have a habit of inviting themselves along. This summer though, we thought we'd fill in a few blanks of our own: a playbook that fits into all of it without rushing a thing.
More than a playbook, a proper guided tour
Under cover of crosswords, sudoku, quizzes and the rest, the playbook tells our story. Our biscuits, our flavours, our little ways, and even one or two of the things we stand for. Page after page, you'll come across ingredients that make all the difference, biscuits we all know by heart, dates that left a mark, and a handful of convictions we've been holding on to for a while now. All of it turned into grids, riddles and games. The best way to talk about yourself, after all, is to let other people guess as they play.
Reading between the grids
Page after page, the playbook slips in a few words about what matters to us. Regenerative flour, a mill turning the right way, producers chosen close to home, seven generations passing the torch, a B Corp certification that's more than a logo. If we put them in, it isn't to tick the boxes. It's because we believe you can laugh, play, and build a better world, one biscuit and one game at a time.
We made this playbook for the whole family. Something the grown-ups will enjoy, and the little ones will grow into. Because it's probably between a biscuit and a riddle that what we believe in passes on best, and where the small gestures that make a difference for the planet can take root, step by step, page after page.
