The art of the table by Dandoy
For us, a beautiful table begins with a choice: who to invite and what to place on it. This year, we collaborated with FOUR to create a ceramic house to place in the centre of the table, in a limited edition of 200 numbered pieces. An object that embodies what brings us together: craftsmanship, expertise and quality.
The art of the table is not just about tablecloths and cutlery. The art of the table is about people and moments. It is where memories are made, traditions are passed on and biscuits are shared. A beautiful table is created above all with care and generosity.
To embody this vision, we have teamed up with FOUR, a ceramics and design studio that shares our love of craftsmanship and handmade items. Together, we have designed a small ceramic house: three windows for three biscuits, a roof for a candle. A simple symbol of what brings us together: the warmth of a home, the pleasure of sharing, attention to detail.
The art of good company
Choosing your collaborators matters just as much as choosing your guests. That's why we joined forces with FOUR, who shape clay by hand with the same patience we bring to our biscuit dough. At Dandoy, as at FOUR, there's no mass production, no shortcuts, just a shared commitment to craftsmanship and quality. From their studio oven to our historic mill, we share the same philosophy: do it well, pass it on, and create beauty that tastes as good as it looks. This collaboration brought "La Maison en Céramique" to life, handcrafted and available in 200 signed and numbered pieces. Each one carries the marks of artisanal work, with subtle differences that make it truly one of a kind. A piece to treasure, year after year, celebration after celebration.
A table (and a house) worth gathering around
A table should always have something to offer. That's why, for the festive season, we've created three new boxes to devour and share:
La Rondelette Épicée, with its three biscuits as spicy as they are comforting.
La Maisonnette, with a delicious house-shaped Speculoos to eat from floor to ceiling
La Maison en Fête, a box with the ceramic house imagined by FOUR and three Speculoos to share.
Taking time to choose wisely
In a world that rushes by, setting a beautiful table is an act of resistance. It's choosing to slow down, to truly gather, to savor. It means favoring handmade objects, selecting food with a known story, and supporting local artisans.
Our advice this season? Take time to surround yourself well. With the right people, those who truly matter and with the right things, chosen thoughtfully, with a story to tell and a rightful place at your table.
Simple moments, lasting memories
This year, place a small house at the center of your table. Fill it with biscuits. Light a candle on its roof. Because ultimately, life's most beautiful moments happen there: around a table, surrounded by those we love, with simple things that have meaning.
Come discover La Maison en Fête in our stores. 200 numbered editions waiting to find their place at the center of your table. Because life's most beautiful moments happen there: around a table, with things that have meaning.
