A walnut biscuit, imperfect but perfectly committed
Here it is: our new biscuit aux noix. Authentic and committed, it embraces imperfection — and that’s exactly where its beauty lies. Crafted with high-quality ingredients, mainly sourced locally and selected with care, it proudly shows its authenticity, even in its uneven edges.

Each hand-shaped biscuit tells its own story. Yet they all share one intention: to do better for the planet and act consciously. If every biscuit looks different, it’s because they carry the trace of our gestures. Those irregular edges? We’re proud of them — they prove there are human hands behind them, a savoir-faire passed down through generations at Dandoy. We don’t seek perfection, only truth. In our own way, we show that things can be done differently.

Origin & Ingredients of the Walnut Biscuit
For this recipe, we aimed to make every choice the right one: full transparency, traceability down to the field, and short supply chains whenever possible.
-
Organic spelt flour — Ferme de Grange (Belgium)
This ancient grain, once forgotten and now rediscovered, literally rebuilds our soils thanks to its deep roots that create a thriving underground ecosystem.

-
Organic rapeseed oil — Graines de Curieux (Belgium)
Belgian fields bursting with bright yellow flowers feed the bees while sparing thousands of transport kilometers.

-
Organic Belgian walnuts — n0k (Belgium)
These century-old trees store carbon and shelter biodiversity. A form of agroforestry that thinks in generations.

-
Organic cane sugar — Keramis (Costa Rica)
This organic sugar funds schools and environmental projects, transforming entire communities.

-
Eggs — Limburgse Eiprodukten Centrale N.V (Belgium)
Our partner farmers are redefining poultry farming. Their hens scratch, hunt, and follow their instincts — and you can taste it.

Handcrafted: the human touch
For us, imperfection is not a flaw — it’s a choice. These biscuits, shaped by hand in our workshop, keep their uneven edges because we refuse to waste what is good. By embracing natural forms instead of uniformity, we reduce waste and celebrate human savoir-faire: each biscuit is unique, bearing the trace of our hands, while preserving the full quality of the ingredients.

Packaging & environmental impact
Consistency extends all the way to the packaging.
- Wood cellulose-based bag, biodegradable and compostable — FDR Emballages (Belgium).
- Recycled and recyclable cardboard.
- Reduced plastics and optimized formats to limit transport volume.
Every element has been designed to protect the biscuit while respecting the planet. From field to store, these choices help reduce the product’s overall footprint.

A Walnut Biscuit with Purpose
10% of this biscuit’s sales are donated to Humundi (formerly SOS Faim), supporting sustainable agriculture and rural community autonomy.
Because doing better also means sharing the fruits of what we make.
Tasting & pairing
Our walnut biscuit shines in its simplicity. It pairs wonderfully with a strong coffee, a black tea, or a warm glass of milk. To be shared at snack time, slipped into a gift box, or enjoyed on its own — it brings that little touch of warmth that makes everyday moments special.
In short, this walnut biscuit is our way of showing that indulgence and conscience can go hand in hand. It isn’t perfect — and neither are we. But we try, we learn, we improve. By choosing it, you join this journey and support a craft that embraces its limits while striving to do better.
